This was painted from life at Mainstreet studio last month, for approximately a 5-hour sitting in 2 days. Lirio was a delight to paint.

"Hillary 1"

"Hillary 1", oil on canvas, 9x12

I painted several "Hillary" on canvas after I saw her on the cover of Time magazine (November 7, 2011 edition). I thought that was a very nice photograph of her. I used 3 colors: ivory black, titanium white & raw umber.

"Inna"

"Inna", oil on canvas, 14x14

"Inna" was the model at Mainstreet Art Center portrait class last week. I spent about 3 hours working on this portrait.
