Just came back from Carolyn Anderson's workshop in New Harmony, IN, a few days ago. This painting was done in that workshop. I've been trying to paint more "painterly", I think I may get there someday (I hope!)...-:)

Happy Thursday, everyone!

 

"Tweety #1", oil on panel, 8x10

 

This blue parakeet has been with my family since 2009, he's a funny bird. A lot of his personalities are similar to his "real owner" (a.k.a my daughter).

In this painting I used Raymar's Claessens #15 double primed linen panel, which is my favorite, and the very creamy titanium white from Gamblin.
